I have lived in and around Totteridge all my life and was a pupil at St Andrew’s School (class of 1977) where I enjoyed some of the happiest years of my life – the sun always seemed to shine! I joined as a school governor at the request of Rev Tim Seago and Jonathan Crawford as I have 20 years educational experience and am at present a Lecturer in HRM at Middlesex University. I also sit on the PCC at St Andrews Church and help to provide a link between the church and school.

I live in the area with my husband and 2 boys, who are both juniors at St Andrews now. Both of my children have been in the school since Reception and we have been pleased with their experience so far, despite ongoing unprecedented challenges, such as falling budgets and Covid.

I have 15 years of experience working within the NHS and I believe our childrens’ education is crucial to their physical and mental health. With this in mind, I contribute to the Wellbeing committee, of which I am a member. I believe that my background, knowledge and experience are valuable and I hope to make a diverse contribution to the Board of Governors, in order to help our children thrive and reach their full potential.
